Fresh Elements at 83 Skyline Plaza, Daly City, California.

I am torn between wonderful food and horrible set up. We made a 6pm reservation, showed up on time but still got seated in the "overflow" 3 shops down in Dim Sum King. It was super disorganized. The servers were serving the customers of Dimsum King and customers of Fresh elements. How two separate restaurants can exist in one place is beyond me. Needless to say it didn't work well. The condiments cart kept getting pushed around and getting in the way of the waiters. Our dishes arrived so far apart our plates were always empty. After 1.5 hours we ate 3 dishes. I didn't like that we weren't allowed to cook our own food at our own pace. And our dishes were served one at a time and we didn't get to choose what we eat and when we eat. I like to eat a variety of food, not all the shrimp at once, then follow by clams...and so forth. It was a bad experience. Two dishes we ordered didn't arrive. The waiters got confused and served us our congee . We asked them wherre is the rest of our food. They asked how come you ate your congee from the pot already. We never been there before, how would we be able to tell if something was served out of order. The end they gave us free dessert as an apology. I am debating if I should go back, even though everything tasted really good.
